"Nezumi" Oire (Bench) Chisels - Special Blue Steel

Fujikawa has been making chisels since 1930 and has a reputation for producing high quality, no nonsense tools. We carry two brands of their Oire Chisels.

The Nezumi mark is reserved for the highest quality chisels they produce. Nezumi means "mouse", hence the label. Nezumi chisels are made from a proprietary blue steel, akin to blue #2 with extra chrome and tungsten added for hardness and edge retention.

Other sizes may be procured via special order, please understand delays may be several months long given limited production of chisels of this quality.
