Chu Tataki chisels are light timber framing chisels. They're heftier than Oire chisels, not as heavy as full Tataki chisels, and are designed to take a beating ("tataki" literally means "beating." I carry the Yasaku line in white steel, which aims to strike a balance between price and performance. Other sizes are available by special order.
