Hozohiki saws have rip teeth and cut the cheeks and ends of tenons, while dozuki cut the shoulders. Hozohiki can also be used to efficiently and accurately cut dovetails.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 240mm saw is a scale appropriate for timber framing. For smaller scale furniture work, we recommend the 180mm saw.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease note: these saws have been hardened and are only 0.2mm thick (roughly 30% thinner than comparable saws from Z-saw and the like).
